The part-time School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR) Executive MBA program is designed to fast-track the leadership journey of executives aspiring to lead at the Senior and C-suite level. It accelerates career growth, whether advancing in your current leadership trajectory or transitioning to a new role or business context. A learning and human experience that brings together people, cultures and ideas to develop global leaders who transform Swiss enterprises.

The program is delivered in-person every three weeks, from Thursday to Saturday. This approach minimizes the number of days you need to spend away from the office.

Our EMBA combines a wide range of innovative learning methods to develop your authentic leadership styles, taught by a selected faculty that boast impressive credentials from some of the world’s top institutions including INSEAD Paris, MIT Boston, IMD Lausanne, University of Southern California Los Angeles, Babson College USA, among others. 

The practice-driven curriculum of our EMBA combines leadership, financial and managerial courses; equipping you with the tools to make better strategic decisions. While remaining firmly rooted in the Swiss ecosystem, you will also participate in one-week international immersion in the USA. This will help you better understand the global business environment and how Swiss companies innovate across the world.

Admission requirements

Strong motivation

Ability and commitment to participate in discussions and to add thought-provoking ideas to lessons.

Language skills

Ability to express oneself and contribute to discussions in French and English.
At least some knowledge of German.

Academic path

Bachelor, Master or equivalent.
Admission by application
in case of other diploma.

Proven leadership

Significant professional experience of at least seven years (ten years in the case of admission by application).

This cost includes tuition, stay abroad (excluding travel and meals), course materials in the form of computer or paper documents, examination fees, as well as support for personal consulting work.
